This is because we have ATEX type approval for machines in this category.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>History-based experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>For decades, T\u00dcV-Rheinland inspectors have assessed a countless number of machines for various ATEX categories. During this time, we have proven that we meet the requirements: our documentation is in order and the workmanship of our production employees is highly regarded by T\u00dcV.<\/p>\n<h2>What is ATEX certification?<\/h2>\n<p>Machines used in explosive environments must have an ATEX certificate. Previously, each individual screw conveyor for Zones 0 and 20 had to undergo a once-only test by a T\u00dcV inspector before being issued with an ATEX certificate. This is a time-consuming procedure, which is why we joined the type approval scheme.<\/p>\n<h2>ATEX type approval for proven workmanship<\/h2>\n<p>Notified body T\u00dcV-Rheinland issued the ATEX type approval because of our proven craftsmanship, and because our machines are always built using the same standard manufacturing methods. As a result, a large proportion of the machines that we make for product category 1 do not need to be individually inspected.<\/p>\n<h2>About ATEX Category 1<\/h2>\n<p>ATEX Category 1 offers the highest possible level of protection. This means that we can guarantee the required safety level even during exceptional malfunctions.
